While I love my analog Ferrari having a nanny car when driving in a New England snow storm makes life a lot nicer.

Any sports car <3000 lbs should have manual rack and pinion steering. Porsche could charge extra for it :D
IIRC the Alfa is the only manual steering car available now.

I rented a new 911 6 months ago. Drove it for several days. When returning the car I was entering an onramp, sharp left. Wasn't pushing it, thought I was driving reasonable. The traction control kicked in and I realized that if it didn't have the nannys I'd have slammed it into the wall. I'm not good enough for an analog supercar. I don't allow myself to own sport bikes either. I have trouble not using all that power that I'm not skilled enough to control.

For a thrill, get me a Triumph Spitfire. Even a Fiat 2000 has road holding that's too good. I like to get edge of my seat white knuckle thrills at 30mph :D

Late 80's 911 Turbo. Punched it on an uphill onramp and the back end started to pass me. Scared the crap out of me. Lucky to bring it back in one piece.

Excellent points. I love the classics and I also love the new ones like the 458.

I was thinking of starting a new thread- what do we love about Ferrari. I mean some people love the looks, or the power. I love how they blend art, science and passion. Some have more of one than another aspect but they all have that. It doesn't matter if Im behind the wheel of a 250 or a 458, the thought going through my head is "I love this!"
