Has anyone had this? Had it twice now and both times when suspension lift up and only on the way back when car warmed up/ same section of road too. It sounds like two bits of flat plastic clapping together. Looked under the car and can't see anything obvious.

You might be referring to when the E-brake cable self adjusts. It makes an odd sound back there, sort of like a coil retracting very quickly or something slapping back together momentarily.

With the lifter up, my car makes a creaking sound which seems to emanate from the right A pillar area. I had the car inspected and was particularly concerned about a cold weld or similar structural defect. Nothing was found and the creaking has diminished over time. Plastic clapping? Never heard of that before.
