premium? What should it sell for? I don't see many sales so I have no idea. I know the US version sells used for about $500 but the 1994 euro wheel is much more rare.

Yes, no perforated sections and horn buttons on wheel rather than center but still looks great!

The 456 3 spoke wheel doesn't suit the F355 at all. Besides the non perforated leather it has a chrome ring around the horn button. Looks very out of place.

Eilliott- Then I suggest you do not get one. Those chrome rings are really bad.

I won't need one, as my car has the correct 3 spoke wheel fitted from factory.

Just stating the facts some people aren't aware that there are two similar wheels and they are often advertised as the same.

Sorry Terry I should have posted a photo. I'm referring to this one it's from an early 456 too and have seen it for sale incorrectly listed a Euro F355 version. Just trying to help out as the colored black center makes it look deceptively like the euro wheel but they are very different in the hand.

Elliott- The reason I posted the 456 image was that it is interesting that similar steering wheels were used by Ferrari on the V8 and V12 models of similar vintage, with the higher end V12s receiving fancier versions of the same wheel. As an example, the steering wheels on the 360 and 575M use the same frame and airbags (my 575M has a 360 airbag now), but the 575M has separate external horn buttons while the 360 horn buttons are covered in leather. The lower spoke leather is also a bit fancier on the 575M wheel, with a closed out top and double row of stitching.

It was not my intention to suggest one as a substitute for the other, although either would likely fit. Just an interesting bit of Ferrari lore.

This wheel looks great and I love the look but I would never sacrifice safety for a slightly better looking steering wheel. The airbag is there for a reason and since its implementation has saved many thousands of lives. What many don't understand is the damage done by the shoulder seat belt in a head on collision when there is no airbag to spread the forces of the sudden stop. As a firefighter I have seen how so many just get out of a head on collision with next to no marks on them and it was because of the airbag. The airbag stops your whole body from moving forward. It also prevents many of the leg injuries because it simply keeps your body from moving forward and forcing your feet under the pedals and knees into the dash. It also stops the shoulder belt from breaking your ribs. But there is another big factor that I never knew about until it was explained to me while watching my father in-law in extreme pain in emerge after a head on collision in and old GM without airbags. The shoulder strap passes over your left shoulder and down across your chest. If you look at the anatomy of your body, the belt passes right over the top part of your heart. When stopping suddenly, your body is held in place by that belt only(if you don't have an airbag) and puts tremendous pressure on the aorta which is located at the top of your heart. In some cases(as in my father in-law) the aorta will tear and or separate from the heart ultimately resulting in a very painful death. When this happens a tremendous pain in referred to your back and there is nothing that can be done. What makes it worse is that death is not always instantaneous. I asked a paramedic about this and he had always known about it. My father in-law was doing about 50 mph when he crashed. He suffered for 3 hours before going on life support as there is now not enough blood going to the brain. I then realized why so many of the car accidents I was at in my early years(before the airbag) the patients were screaming because of back pain.
The owner of the shop where I take my 355 took a 355 for a test drive one day and was hit by a drunk head on. The car was pushed right up to the windshield. He got out and walked. His only symptom for a couple of weeks was a stiff neck simply because the airbag worked. I know that to some of you this is a long diatribe but its the simple truth. Sometimes its better to keep some of the safety features on our cars and this is one I will never remove.

Great post. I had been thinking the same thing as the OP, i.e. change my steering wheel to non-airbag Euro style. I had even reached out to Eurospares earlier this week to see if they had any such wheels from some of the 355's that they're breaking (they didn't). But after reading your post, I think I'll just live with the Dodge Caravan-esque wheel that's OEM to the car. It's just not worth it.

This is a good post indeed. But people with '94 cars live with non airbag somehow and do not change them to airbag version... But post is good, thanks. If I will not find non airbag version I will live with my and no regrets thaks to this Gerry's post.

Europarts didn't have non airbag from blue car ;)
