FYI, Ferrari racer Allan Simonsen is running Tarmac rally at Lake Mountain this weekend...

In the Evo 9 he ran Classic Adelaide in

Haven't got a link etc yet...

This is the first serious event for it/him...

Full Les Walkden crew running car with Jody Crocker in same team in WRX...

They just spent a bomb with Reiter buying something else that doesn't work. This time it was an ABS unit that disabled evertything else on it's CAN network.

Well... apparently the cars are prepared to exactly the same regs... by exactly the same team and crew... so yes, I think that's the better comparison than comparing to the G... which should be faster than Allan!

    Hey Mr Dee Jay....
Cody Crocker is a former Australian Rally Champion... and the Les Walkden Enterprises squad has been running that WRX in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship for Mr Crocker and for Mr Orders... so they should be the best they can be....

Now this event is on tar, which is probably Mr Crocker's weakest leg.. much happier beiong a mud monster than a tar baby

Good work by Mr Simonsen :):) I hope he wins the whole thing... as well as the first stage :)

Congrats to Allan, stellar performance as usual.

What I find more astonishing is my old business partner Drew Jorgensen and his wife Georgie in 5th place. WOW!

I know what they are competing in and it isn't the caliber of car that should be that high up IMO. Great effort Drew and Georgie.

One stage to go, Simonsen in the lead by 57 seconds from Evans in the Scooby Doo and a rapidly fading lambo in third.

Taking out 8 fastest stage times of 11 without ever being out of the top 3 is very impressive. That performance will come as a surprise to the 3 time Australian Champion who trailed home 1m45s in arrears without winning a single stage !!

    Well done indeed.
