Still very much a "flexible" date, I think. There has been virtually no publicity or pre-launch hype.

I hope that either Comcast, or Cablevision or both will carry this channel.

I'm with Charter in Reno. Still no word on Speed HD, so who knows if they'll pick up TRN. I should start harassing them about it now. :)

I wish them good luck, and I hope they will carry Super GT.

In a C/D article I read on Speed TV, it was mentioned that they realized non-Nascar fans were unhappy with the limited amount of coverage Speed was now offering in other forms of auto racing. Iirc, they said they couldn't exist without revenues brought by Nascar related coverage and stated it was those same revenues which allowed them to cover what road racing they could. In short, we don't have what they want, namely numbers, so I do hope we support TRN to the fullest when it does become available.

Because it doesn't involve rednecks, an oval track, and huge viewership. They will continue to spout that BS as long as we continue to tune in when they broadcast our preferred races. Sadly. :(

ANY racing series, ANY sporting series or event, will only survive (on TV) with advertisers.
If none will ante up the commercial dollars, if viewership isn't a slam-dunk, it won't air.

Untimately, this is why F1 isn't on here (much) - it isn't widely watched.
In Melonville SpeedTV is on an upper 'pay' HD tier.

    Denial ?
I may not be in love with nascar, but to say Jimmy Johnson is in denial is wrong.
AND I may not be in love with Jimmy Johnson, but it's pretty hard to disagree with his reasoning.

As much as I like Ferrari, it's REALLY hard to think of Kimi as driver of the year, as he basically had the WDC handed to him.

    And...
I don't think I've ever been solicited for a monetary donation before just to sign a petition... I'll pass on that.

Not unless there's some big bank roll, anything in the US that doesn't use NASCAR as their bread and butter will flop. It's the harsh reality.

    What I said.

I'm not saying Kimi is BAD, and I'm not saying Ferrari is BAD, but Louis screwed up and handed it to him.

And NO, I'm not a McLaren fan.

Yep - and it makes us all SICK.

I guess we just have to look at the Runoffs as 'our little secret', hopefully it won't get ruined too much.

OK. Going with that train of thought if Kimi had screwed up he would have handed it to Alonso and so on.

Does anyone know if this channel will be available on Comcast digital cable?
