None Ferrari F1 pilots that drive street Ferraris?

    Looking at this thread about Mika Hakkinens ex F456 Ferrari for sale. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=137834212&posted=1#post137834212
    I think that i rightfully concluded that he must have owned that 1994 Ferrari at the same time that he was battling the Ferrari's and Williams cars from 1994-1999?
    Can anyone think of any other F1 drivers who drove/drive Ferraris on the road while battling them on the F1 track in an opposing team?
    I wonder what the respective teams think, i mean i cant imagine some how the Mclaren camp being impressed if LH or HK pulled up to work in a Ferrari:D Whats your thoughts?

    IIRC, Mika bought or wanted to buy a 360 back in 1999. Ron didn't approve.

    Well, it's not like there's a line of McLarens to choose from. And no. Mercedes doesn't count.

    I was a bit confused by the thread title, but I think it would be great if LH pulled up to the McLaren HQ in a Ferrari. He could pull it off.

    i cant imagine any driver in F1 not wanting to own a ferrari if nothing else to keep as a garage queen.

    I remember reading an aritcle during the 1998 season, that 10 drivers in F1 had their own jet, but all 22 had at least one Ferrari. At that time it was the 355.

    I think Kimi had an Enzo before he was with us.
    Pretty sure Phil Hill had a Ferrari before his F1 career as well.

    Yep it seems you are, every one else got to grips with it.
    But there is always one that gets confused so it might as well be you :rolleyes: I understand that the letter "E" confused you:)

    Both Kimi & Massa owns a 599 now. i think Kimi also owns an F430 Scud.

    JPM had a 360 at one point. It might have been yellow. Not sure if he still has it.
