I can't tell but that dash may actually be plywood.... and that rear bumper eee gads its bad headlight fitment looks questionable, and i wonder how hard it is to close those doors.
you like it so much you had to say it 3 times, huh..... looks like quite the machine!!lol... edit:aww man, they fixed your triplets....
wouldnt want the triplets to breed and get out of control, and i need to stay off the submit button when my internet is lagging. also Ihope this car dosent breed any time soon.
Are you SURE it's a kit? . . . . . . . . . . LOL! Looks like the rear bumper is designed for pushing.
its so the tow truck wont need to even hook up he can just push you home those hubs and wheels look like they are off of a truck.
Maybe the "donor car" was a tow truck. Looks like a high school shop project gone out of control. I'd give him a "C"
the funniest thing is that you can get a real countach for around 100 grand this guy wants 30 for what is arguably the worst car ever reglardless of what shape it approximates. if he was selling for 8500 bucks I could see someone buying it for a joke or maybe a demolition derby. but for 40k you can start to buy real exotic cars..... heck if you got really lucky a real ferrari might be had at that price. to me the only kits that make sense are the ones that replicate cars that either do not exist any more, or cars that are so rare as to be unatainable, ie they are in museums or only 1 was ever produced, concepts etc... and even those kits I'd like to see very high quality, sort of like the lola in the other thread I would gladly drive one of those
No one will know except for people with eye sight I wonder if they will take $25k...We'll see if anyone at VCR will know Only problem is who would drive it there?
The sad thing is that people will think it's real. I joined a photography website and have corrected at least 5 people who have posted pics of this "AWESOME FERRARI" that they saw which ended up being a horrible kit that anyone on Fchat would recognize.
It's amazing how a guy can get caught up in doing something without stopping to consider whether he should. If the only way to his dream car was this............ he should have tried another dream.
The worst is the one's that want to seriously emulate the real thing. After awhile, it becomes difficult to tell the difference. They put on genuine emblems, lenses, and then begin to work on the interior. Some moron, built a replica Diablo, and it was almost impossible to tell the car from the real thing. He spent over six figures on that car !!!!! lol. He had a real Diablo dash. Most likely he did not figure his personal time, into the true cost of the project. If they are set up properly, they are reliable for the most part.
Spectacular! I can't tell the difference. It must be a series 7 Countach. It has all of the Walter Wolf & Bob Wallace modifications.
