    Can someone tell me once and for all where the "NOPI" name came from? Is it an acronym for something?

    (As far as I'm concerned, NOPI sounds dopey! :D)

    I have been to NOPI once and it was my last time going. Im not much into NOPI but my friends have a new thing coming to the US soon. It's called SpeedFed. www.speedfednationals.com. It's more for the Car Enthusist and involves more participation on people who want to race. They are having their first event Aug 17-19th at Rockingham NC and will take it Nationwide by next year. AutoX, Drifting, Drag Racing, Car show and some Stunt Bike Shows.

    or nopi for short

    I think that the cars at those events look trashy and overtuned.

    I believe it stands for Number One Parts Importer (NOPI). At least that is what I have heard.
