    Gentleman,

I'm thinking of making a move up to NorCal. Looking at the Pope Valley area. My target is 3-5 acres of land in the 250k range buildable. Any comment on the Pope Valley Rd region? Good/Bad/etc? Alternate suggestions for a nice rural scenic area in the same price range? I need to be 90 minutes or less drive to the city. :)

Pope Valley is definitely more than 90 mins away.... Don't know much about the area though, sorry. Maybe V-man or someone else can chime in?

    Healdsberg or farther north.

90mins away form the city gives you lots of different terrain, but the commute can vary GREATLY given the time of day and day of week.

3-5 acres for $250k aint gunna happen 90mins in commute traffic from San Fran.

At that price I'm not sure about Pope Valley, you may have to go a little further. Pope Valley is just over the hill from Napa Valley, it's nice and remote and not too far from the city, but more than 90 minutes most times of day. I live in Napa...sending pm.

    especially on the east side...

the problem is from that far out, there aren't too many corridors you can use t oget into the city, which is really the problem. as the road goes on an empty day, you'd be within 90 mins city limit to city limit, but it would be close.
