In case the word is not yet out to all of you F car and Lambo guys, this is a great show at a beautiful venue. www.northeastexotic.com It is on a Saturday, with a raindate for sunday
I'll be there, always an outstanding show. For anyone interested here are photos from '05. I changed my site and broke the link on the northeastexotic.com site. Whoops! http://www.necarcentral.com/eventphotos.php?id=6
We are planning the traditional caravan from the Burlington Mall (MA) @ 8:15 AM on the brand new tarmac at Crate & Barrel. 8:30 AM departure, for those interested.
When I had the 30 K service done, I asked them to at least keep it for a couple of weeks to give me the illusion that the $6K cost represented a couple of weeks of hard work......... If it helps, you could think that they work day and night. I havent been to this show. I'm going to try to make it. Looks like a good one. - Ron
Sounds great! Small posse? It's always an entourage when you're around, Kenny! (See the photo in the link below...look who's leading Zan and Lotus Man.) http://www.northeastexotic.com/ -Will
I have yet to get a chance to go to this event. So if time allows, I will be up for it too. Will, what time do you think you will actually be hitting the road and heading up rt3? Maybe I will meet you on the way by Tyngsborough.
TC - I still owe you drinks for you and your friend's (John Cho - aka Harold's) generosity at 33 a while back. We will be leaving the mall lot via Middlesex Turnpike towards the Rt. 62 entrance onto Rt. 3. Assuming a responsible rate of "ascent" up Rt. 3, we will probably pass Exit 34 (Westford Road exit, Rt. 3A/Tyngsboro) at around 8:45 AM. So if you're flashing your lights on the breakdown lane around that time near the exit, you'll see us blasting...uh I mean...cruising by. Hope to see you. -Will
I'm new to the area...but I think I'll be bringing my 365 gt4/bb to the show. It recently won the Kid's Choice for the "coolest car" at the local car show a few weeks back. I don't think they'll be many others like it there...Looking forward to meeting some local car nuts! Regards, David
sigh.... unfortunately the 355 is still in the shop waiting for headers. looks like it will be missing this year. i will still drive up though. mind if a non-fcar joins the caravan up?
There was a superbly clean BBi from RI there the first year. Haven't seen it since. Was your 365 at KTR by any chance in 2005 while we had a dyno day there ? Look forward to seeing it. Kenny
Yes...Kenny. It had just come out of storage at that point. I had it down at KTR for some chassis measurments. In comparrison to how "ratty" it looked then, she now looks new again. See you there... Take care, David
I'm workin on it Kenny, trying to get a sitter. I would just have the old lady follow us so she can bring my son, but I don't think I would want her to try to keep up with us LOL. I hope one of you guys have a radar for the caravan this time because we sure ate the road up on the way to Tutto.
All systems are go for Saturday. Looks like sunny in the am and clouding up in the afternoon, with a 30% chance of showers after 1pm. See you guys at the show and thanks! -Jeff Torrey / Director
Jeff - Thanks for the weather report - Will be there. Will never forget your "parting the seas" and leading me on to the lawn. Great welcome to your event. That's dedication!
I like it ! If anyone wants to drive up from S.E. Mass, meet us at the Park n Ride at the Rt24 & Rt106 intersection. Departing at 7:45am to arrive at the Burl. Mall approx 8:15-8:30. Kenny k.
I'll be there as well with my 328 GTB. I'm glad I have a short drive home. It is going to be hot and my AC doesn't blow all that cold.
It was hot as hell but a few of us showed up to wave the Ferrari flag. It was great meeting some of the FChaters and talking cars all day. Congratulations to Kenny for walking away with 1st Place in the F class with his 85 Euro TR. It looked great and the people loved it. David's 365 BB looked fantastic. Thanks for bringing it out.
