Fair play to you boys for turning out in that weather.Who was lucky enough to be sporting the F chat t-shirt? Tony
Respect to you guys for venturing out on such a poxy day.... Lets all do a Fchat national meet in the summer Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mark, The t-shirts did arrive but in the rush on Sunday morning I forgot to bring them !! I can bring them along to the next outting ? Thanks for organising the event, and again apologies for not making it to the pub. Richard
Guys, Aopolgies for not turning up on Sunday, It's a long and nasty story ! Went out on Saturday at about 1.20 to fetch the GTO ready for the Sunday am meet, Returned at just after 5.00, Only to find that some **** had broke in and wrecked the place. Wife was at sisters, and unusually took dogs with her, (We have 2 German Shepherds), They would have ripped an intruder apart, very very protective !!! - Wife now in bits for 2 reasons, Firstly for taking dogs, and secondly because somone has intruded in her house. Managed to get away with a Laptop, DVD Player, cameras, watches, (worth £50k), some silver and an Art Deco bronze of all things. Thankfully, couldn't get into garage, looks like they had a good go though, but keys were in safe and they didn't find that. Poxy neighbours didn't even bother to come around when alarm went off, despite waving me and my Brother off when we went to get the car. Alarm was actually tripped at 4.28 pm, If we'd been 30 minutes earlier we'd have caught the Bastard(s) ! Hope you guys had a good time, Sunday morning rained a bit here, so GTO wouldn't have come out to play, Sorry, but She only likes dry clean roads ! Hacked off, Steve
Sorry to here about the break-in. We all must remember to leave the ferrari keys in a safe sercure place. On another note , the private plate on the enzo used to be on a 360 spider. I saw the 360 at cadwell park. The owner reversed the spider into a iron gate. He must have changed the spider for the Enzo.
Steve, Real sorry to hear about this. I hope the stolen stuff is all replaceable. Little bastards don't deserve the same air... Still if they have taken some rare items, there is a pretty high chance the average 'smacked up thief' will get caught trying to flog them down the local boozer/pawnshop. So I hope it all gets retrieved. Phil
Steve, Commiserations. Thats a really horrible thing to happen. CHOP OFF THIER GOLLIES !!!! that's what I say
Thanks for all your support guys, The police have caught some 29 year old **** with some of our stuff on him, Chances are we'll get some of it back. Some of it is irreplaceable and of highly sentimental value. In the last 2 and 1/2 days, alarm has been extended & upgraded, CCTV installed and I've ordered a perimeter fence. I'm starting to feel like prisoner in my own home, Better than a replay of Saturday though I guess? Thanks again, Definately see you at Brunters. Steve
F*CK, F*CK, F*CK.....Steve, that's a bummer. I've been there myself and, as an Art Deco lover myself, I really empathise Cheers, MARK
