    Jeffrey,

Did you do the restoration yourself or have it done by a shop?
    If a shop, which one?

Your bike looks great. '74 is the last year of the shift on the right.
Plus it has the disc brake on front.

I own a '75 Norton Commando (MkIII Roadster).
Shifts on the left. Disc brakes front & rear.
Been thinking of sending it off to a shop to be made like new.
Here's a pic of my bike. You'll notice the '74 style mufflers on it. :)

I do my own work. Mechanical and paint.
This was my summer project. It has been thouroughly gone thru and many modern updates and usual chronic Norton problems addressed.
Also, this is the 5th Norton I've owned since 1974 when I had one as my 1st bike and taught myself how to ride. I am intimate with them and can basically restore them in my sleep.
They've been in my blood for a very very long time.

Cool Jeff. I did not know you were into bikes. I have a few vintage bikes myself; 1972 Kawasaki H2, 1972 Suzuki TM400, 1973 Kawasaki F11 and 1969 Honda CL100. All bikes I owned as a teenager. I have several friends with vintage bikes too; all Hondas, a CBX, CB750 and CL450. You should go vintage riding with us one Saturday.

    Jeff,

Nice work. Now maybe you can find one for me ( and restore it?)

    You have all the connections.

    regards, Tony

    I'm expensive :)
Figure out your budget. Look around at values and see how far you want to go and what the end result you want. ie stock, stock but with inherent design problems addressed, performance increases?, etc..etc... ask your self what you really want out of the project. You can have a nice "runner" cheaply or you can do a $25K or more bike done up the way Colorado Norton Works do.
