NOS Marelli alternator for Dino 246 GT GTS

One (1) New Old Stock (NOS) Marelli alternator for the Ferrari 246 GT GTS Dino European version rated at 14V 55Amp for $449.99 with free shipping to US destinations.

New, never mounted and in pristine condition. This is an improved version which features a built in solid state Voltage Regulator to elminate the headache and failures caused by the old style mechanical regulators. This unit mounts to the original Euro bracket and uses the stock wiring. I've installed one in my Dino and it has performed flawlessly since 2009 for over 20,000 kMs. I am now offering my extra unit for sale, please see the actual image of it installed in my Dino. Note: The last photo showing this unit adjacent to the original alternator and is for comparison only, the original unit in not part of this sale. Only the new Alternator is being sold here, nothing else is included.

The 2 terminal wiring is simple, connect your existing output wire to the B+ terminal and 12 V excitation to the D+ terminal. Present wiring can be used for easy reversing back to original, just disconnect the mechanical VR power in wire and jumper to the 8amp fused line to supply the D+ terminal. Using this in a USA version Dino is also possible but requires the Euro bracket (not included in this auction) instead of the US "waffle can" style bracket intended to hold the Alternator and Emissions pump as one unit.
