Not a 355, but I thought some of you gear heads on the 355 section would like to see my latest project.
Not to mention, you guys on here that waited patiently for your 355 engines or alt. shields to be finished, this is one of the reasons why I've been killed for time this spring. An engine out major on a 355 is a piece of cake compared to this...scary as hell having an engine dangling 15 feet in the air!
Specs: 47' Fountain Lightning , triple 900 horsepower 540 cu. in supercharged engines on 92 octane, 14000lbs, 130 mph top speed.
Burnt the aluminum head and block between a couple cylinders and a couple of pistons, so I've built a new short block for that engine, freshening the other two and then putting them all on the dyno next week to be sure they all have power +/- 10 hp of each other. Then reinstalling them.

Holy COW!! Do you have the stones to run a boat like that like it should be run? I know that about 50mph on the water feels like 100, so 130 must be INSANE! I would love to see a youtube video of that thing hauling a$$. That is if you can get anyone to ride with you to shoot the video.

Here is a youtube video of this exact boat, before my customer bought it. Kinda long video, but well worth it!

Yeah, the prop blades are sharp, I've got scars on my shins from carrying the outdrives and bumping into them.
I live close to a lake so I get a few boat engines to do from time to time. One friend/customer has a 22' catamaran with a supercharged 572 in it, I rode with him to 110mph and another I did was a naturally aspirated 640 that made 920hp that pushed his 27' boat to 117mph. I did two small blocks for Jetfixr on here for his classic race boat, 500hp each. And his boat handles like a Ferrari on the water!

I must say Gary, that is way cooler than a 355.....do you leave it outside like that?

Need to have that boat for some pro bass fishing down here...bet-ya I'd be the first one to the best fishing spots...lol

P.S. Notice you have a guard dog to keep away unwanted vermin..lol
