How does the truck (or should I say motorhome - cough cough) get over speed bumps etc, or does it 'lift', just looks extremely low, even lower than a strad
hmmmm, I'm sure I've seen this handywork before Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
EXCELLENT... all bases are covered, pheww. I was a little scared to ask, just in case something had actually been overlooked. Then I figured better to ask now, before it is all trimmed and finished! Sometimes when you are head down and working it is easy not to look up and see something obvious... (see picture). I really like the re-use of the caravan fittings. Very efficient and compact way to fit it out. Presumably all the other fittings (gas/electric fidge cooker, toilet, shower etc.) will be getting transferred as well. Very nice project. all input appreciated!! All the fittings will be transferred, with the additions of a large split fresh water and waste water tank Bathroom is the only real challenge left, its all a bit tight as the caravan had a fairly large bathroom area (too big for the truck)
thought I would give you fellas an update. Progress has been a bit slow because the guy building it has been in and out of hospital with his missus. Lockers are lined, caravan interior transferred bar the shower room, garage lined, tyre rack up, most of the wiring is in, complicated system 12v/240v (inverters) with the genny back up, all windows in, going ok, albeit a little behind time wise. LOL....just ours mate, just ours. Put it like this, we will go away Thursday PM, come back Sunday PM, and I dont wanna have to fill the water tank up on the Sat night, so I figured fit the biggest tanks I could get in one of the lockers....
Garage now finished bar the lighting (LED spots), rooflight cut in above the bed, blue LEDs fitted to steps... progress is slow but to a high standard Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
