    Seriously, what is he thinking?!?

I bring my own sponges & soap to those things... I just like the high pressure water.

    Seriously, it's just a car.

The miniscule scratches made by those sponges can easily be polished out.

Sorry Lennard but i had to get a car resprayed as a result of the damage caused when they used a brush and dirty water.

Having any car washed using those brushes is just NUTS!

But on the one hand, you gotta figure if he can afford that car, he can afford a paint job.

Look at the size, compared to that Jeep. I wonder if the Jeep knew what was on the other side.

Really, if a brush and dirty water caused you to need a full respray, either you are terrably anal, or it was not a very quality paint job in the first place.

I find this picure shows the guy likes his car as a car, and not just some static piece of art work/investment.

But on the other hand, you gotta figure that if he can afford that car, he should know how to wash it properly, or at least pay someone to do it right.

And the outrageous price for respraying something like that is never justified no matter how much money you have.

Great find. 11 out of 50?? That's amazing. You found a gem, my friend.

Maybe I missing something here, but unless you whack the car with the spray wand, that is a touchless car wash. A lot of those places have a brush for wheels and things, but you don't have to use it to get the car clean.

Next you'll start complaining about water spots. :D

I washed my 360 with a big brush on a stick and later with sponges, and made fine scratches all over the car. When I bought a CS that was owned by a former detailer, it has a mirror finish. He said do not sponge it right away when washing, but drag a wet towel across it to remove the fine particles first.
