Not impressed with F1 360

my uncle recently got his 2003 360 spider, and having some time behind the wheel and as a passenger, i got to say, not too impressed with F1. It drives great, shifts fast, downshifts aren't THAT cool, i donno, i feel like it takes away from the driving experience. My uncle on the other hand loves it and that's all that matters, but for me i will always want a 6 speed ferrari, but i realized one thing, that i never had it in sport mode, does the stock 360 have some type of valves that open up the exhaust? he has stock exhaust and doesn't want a tubi because he has some neighboors that would not appreciate it. just giving my impressions, what a car though, i have to convince him to get a tubi or aftermarket exhaust, what are some pros to doing this mod besides sound?

Tubi is not very loud on the 360

not having it in sport mode makes a ****load of a difference on those kind of trannys apparently.

 

Tell him to trade it in and buy a real ferrari.

(BTW... id much rather have a 6 speed h-gate shifter myself...) but in most reality; the F1 trans look just as good as a h gate from the outside

Try it in sport mode. Rev's aren't matched on downshifts and upshifts are slow unless you're in sport mode.

 

thanks, will try sport mode, car has a check engine light i believe, so the dealer will check it out next week, after that, sport mode time.
