The last time a Ferrari #2 driver had a shot at the title was Eddie Irvine, right? I was not following it back then, just read about it. Obviously, he did not make it. 1999, 4 wins to Hakkinen's 5 wins. Was two points adrift in the end. Schumacher DNS for 6 races.

Brian, I haven't got a problem with him winning it, all I can say is, I would be amazed and pretty dumb struck, but felt he would have without doubt deserved it.

    +1

i was one of the first to actually critic Massa after his Malaysian sloppy race performance. but after such a dreadful start of the season, he's really getting it all together and doing well now, isn't he. only the British GP howler was his low point this season i think. but that too, played the fact that Ferrari setup their cars in dry settings, and messed up the strategy.

still, no excuses for spinning 5 times.

Agreed!! I expected and predicted Kimi would win and do so with a tight battle between himself and Lewis. I didnt see Felipe in my cloudy crystal ball!!! :)

Massa has won me over a little bit lately, he has been consistent lately. The only problem with Massa's form was his consistency, something that Kimi had plenty of but Massa lacked. Now that the table have turned and Kimi has a hangover, keep up the good results Massa until Kimi wakes up to win the WDC.
