I am so not in the mood for cold and windy! Bring back summer please. Miserable weather and Obama bless us with his presence in one day? No thank you.

    That's all!

Seasons change. Summer will be here again. Skiing and snowboarding are fun. If you want sunny and 70 degrees try Southern California. But that can drive you crazy too. Hey, at least the sunshine will always be here. Cloudy days are so rare around here, I think their kind of special and fun.

Great! I will be there this time. FOD got the Maserati done for me. Will you be heading to either/both? I'll bring a jacket ;)

If it's just cold (not raining/snowing), I'm going probably to both.

I for one am REALLY looking forward to Ski season. It was not the best last year, I think I only got in 24 or 25 days worth, AND my skis are really trashed from all of the rocks.

Meh, I had FOD put new Direzza's on the spyder, so I'm sure mother nature will try to leave me stranded somewhere. I should be there. They really pulled a number with it. Everything is working as it should for a change. Nice to have it back and functional!

I didn't even make it out skiing once last year. I would like to if I can find some spare time this winter. Be nice to try some different places. I've only gone up to Snowy Range (really should be called Windy Range) up in Wyoming.

As you probably know, we'll see "summer" weather again before winter comes in full force. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some more 70 degree days over the next few weeks. And then, blizzards. :p

Hopefully, Dave has my car up to Colorado spec before the snow gets out of hand. Otherwise, it may be spending the winter at his place. :)

That is very true. I checked the forecast again, and it's gotten a bit better. Supposed to be back into the 60s next week after this cold front passes through. I sure hope so anyway, as I would like to spend more time out on track before we really get shut down for the winter.

So you own that 328. I was just gawking at it yesterday at SR. Beautiful car! It looks to be in great shape. The paint is stunning. Looks like somebody has spent a lot of time taking care of it.

R, you will find that while you can't drive your car every day in the winter, you can drive it in the winter on the days where there's nothing on the roads. They don't put salt down here.

Agreed. I can't imagine what it must be like on the east coast with all the salt.

Thanks. I've had it for 5+ years. I bought it from the original owner who put 57,000 miles on it. It has almost 72,000 miles on it now. The car shipper delivered it yesterday morning.

I've heard that. Unfortunately, I'm a lunatic and bought a house in the mountains. I'm not sure how much winter driving I'll get in. I told my wife I'd just have to put a lift kit on it and some rally lights and make it a rally car. ;)

Awesome! You will be able to drive a few days in the winter. Things do dry up here. We'll get together next summer. I definitely want to drive down to Dave's. Hwy 285 can be an epic drive.

Single stage Ferrari paint, if taken care of, can look amazing, deep and rich, red and black in particular.

We spent the night in Denver last night. Woke up to an inch of snow on the car and 31F.

The roads were dry by 10AM and we had a good drive home. Lots of fog on Lookout Mountain.

Just did the drive from Denver to your neck of the woods to scout the FFFT'13. 44 degrees in Denver when we left and 64 degrees in Carbondale at sunset. Beautiful skies here too.

I picked up the 430 at FOD at noon. They told me you were two hours ahead. The weather looked worse at noon with heavy overcast and a low deck. They tried to call you for an update. Anyway, it was sunny past Conifer and around 50 degrees accross south park. Sorry I missed you.

December through February are actually the driest 3 months of the year along the front range. The biggest storms tend to come in fall and spring.

It's a shame C&C was so desolate today. Figure next time there's a good turnout I'll be stuck up here working or fixing some automotive issue of some sort. ;)

Euro Harvest was filled with a bunch of fail. Too many Owdies and Vw's...

Maserati sure loves the weather. Has lots of power. The Direzza's helped dial down the chaotic oversteer that the Pirelli's seemed to incite. Although I can't wait for it to be back in the 60's again. Gotta have at least a couple more days to have the top down!
