I know about fast cars, I had a bunch of them, from 6 Ferraris, to a Porsche GT2 club sport to a Lambo 6.0 Diablo.
I'm old and tired, and have been having enormous fun with a Morgan 3 Wheeler. I know most regard it as a toy. But it is visceral as hell. I had a lot of accessorizing done by the folks at Petrol Lounge here in Austin- these guys not only care for COTA race cars but all vintages of iron, and one of the owners is an M3W owner who took a special interest in my vehicle. Chris Naylor, who disassembles and reassembles vehicles did yeoman's work, from stripping off all the mountings for PPF and ceramic coating, to installing additional rear brake lights, rally gauges, a moto II nav and the tonneau, which isn't really plug and play. We also installed the side panniers. I finally got the car out today, it was drizzling, and Texas roads are often marked at 80mph (which is a suggestion). I had a ball. The car is now at home, it gets stored at a local indoor garage near my house, but man, what fun! And you aren't necessarily breaking the sound barrier to experience the thrill. Highly recommended for those of you with a quirky bent and a willingness to put up with the oddball nature of British engineering, such as it is:
