Today I went to CHOP'T creative salads in Savannah. choptsalad.com

You order at a kiosk with a huge touch screen. Basically a make your own salad place with lots of add-ons over lots of different greens. They have suggested offering you can order like my Southwest/Mexican Salad. I added a protein steak) and chose my own dressing combo. I was impressed as you had the option to have the dressings "Heavy" or "Light "or regular". You could spec the dressing "on the side", "on t0p" or "chopt in".
I got the Chipolte Ranch and Red Chili, the later being about the limit of spiciness for me. I think a warning would have been in order.

The portion was super generous. Steak was plentiful, but I had some gristly pieces I had to spit out. The pieces were thick. I would have liked them thinner. My biggest pet peeve was that they use the cores of the cabbage and lettuce. That's the thick white center that one usually cuts out. My salad seemed overwhelmed by these. On the other hand my wife ordered a make your own warm bowl with cauliflower rice, spring mix and beets and peaches and Crasins. She topped it with salmon and was very pleased. We ordered at seperate kiosks so our salads did not arrive together.

Everything came in paper bowl with plastic forks that were a bit too weak for my more hearty red cabbage and steak. The fountain drink selection was impressive. I chose to mix sweet tea with a blueberry agua fresca. It was terrific! Only regret here is that the cups were small so you had to refill more often than say a Jersey Mikes. They had paper straws (ugh!) with plastic cups. Go figure. The straws began giving out after my first fill. My ticket was about $22 with the drink. A bit pricey I think. I might go back; not sure at this point.

    I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
