Not able to spend enough time with your car? Always sneaking out to the garage for a peek?

I've found the solution -- just MOVE YOUR OFFICE TO THE GARAGE, and work nearer to your FCar.

Doing some remodel work of my home office, and moved my cubicle to the garage....sounded wierd at first, but I am LIKING IT!
Really nice to be able to turn around at any time and catch a glimpse of the 89 Mondial t cab. (19K miles). Its actually kinda fun for a while until the garage door opens during a conference call ! :)

PS. No comments about the bug juice on the front bumper/valence. I actually DRIVE this car.
(weekend will be for detailing - post drive).

Just don't roll back too fast!

...it's kind of "Batman"...you know, I can see you making a run for that drivers side and WHAMMM...your off!

BTW...I have a similar set up, that's my workshop door in the backround ;)

Usually, I leave the car running...with the driver door open!

    Ready...blast off.

And if you get really depressed about work you can just start the car and kill yourself! ;) <----That is a joke.

Actually the next step would be to bring the car into your new office!!

Why sit in that uncomfortable office chair, when you could be sitting in the Mondial with a Laptop and the phone?

Nice! I work from home mostly and being one floor above my 328 isn't obstacle enough to keep me from taking it to lunch (with a full fridge at home), taking it wherever just to take it out :D I certainly don't need the additional distraction of it mere feet away!

looks like that 't" found a nice home, congrats.I see you swapped out the wheels did you need spacers and all that? Are those 348s magnesium and did you or anybody else ever think about 456 17s? Is your handling better? good luck

Hi Regis. The car is really great. I am liking it alot more than I thought that I would actually. Thanks again for your assistance during the search...the couple of minor items on the list have been addressed, and the car is fantastic. I am very pleased.

As for the 348 wheels, they were off of a 348 which was tracked, so needed to be refinished. No curb rash, but paint markings, etc.
They had the seats positioned much lower in the lug holes, so the only thing that we had to do was order shorter lug bolts -- so I don't know if I can truly comment on the fit for standard 348 wheels.

The handling is MUCH better with the 17's and Goodyear Eagle F-1 DS3's. Very pleased with the choice. Plus, in my opinion, the 348 wheels look better on the Mondial t than they do on the 348 ! (and again, my opinion only, much nicer looking than the stock 16" mondial wheels).

I have a 'dream-house' plan filed away that has my scuderia garage planned so there's a big window from the office into the garage, as well as photo-voltaic glass wall between the living area and the garage! Won't get around to building it in the current real estate climate though, :mad
