Hi, I've had my 488 spider for a month now and noticed when I am cornering at higher speeds, I feel the steering wheel get "notchy" while holding the turn, almost like there is some sort of electronic aid kicking in.

This is in race mode, no loss of control with no under or oversteering and constant throttle input. Ambient temperature maybe 10 deg Celsius, tires 22+deg Celsius, all normal pressure. No flashing yellow traction light either... nowhere near "drift" mode..

    Any thoughts?

Notchy?...like small steering movements makes the car twitchy or jumpy with just the slightest little steering movement?

If so that is because these cars come with a lot of front toe out in the alignment. It is all personal taste but I do not like it much either and you can tame this by going to zero toe or just a little toe out.

Part of it is most likely due to the toe out of the front wheels. It makes for fast and light steering, but it also makes it extremely sensitive, and can even cause some bump steer in fast sweeping turns. The ESC is trying to correct things, and I suspect that is what you feel. If possible, try the same fast turn in CT OFF or even ESC OFF if it is safe to do so. Also try and engage bumpy road mode in RACE and see if that makes a difference
