Does anyone know at what time the F1 Challenge event will be starting at Ferrari of Central Jersey? Also, who is going? I will be coming down from the Poconos to this event.

    Thanks,

    Shawn

From my postcard it says that it will start at 11AM and run till 3PM. The race starts at Noon. They will also be showcasing their new 24,000 Sq Ft facility as well. Sounds like a good time.

It is at Ferrari of Central Jersey in Edison, NJ. They will start the event at 11am. Basically people come down with their Ferraris (or other exotics) to view the race on a big screen tv. They have good catered food and a few nice cars in the showroom to look at. At some of the events they bring in the FXX, Enzo, and F50 for viewing purposes. It is nice to see all of the other Ferraris that they have for sale (incase anyone is interested in their used vehicles). Other than that, that is about all that goes on.

Anyone else like to comment on their experiences?

Can anyone show up? I would like to go to see the cars and bring mine as well. I was thinking you would need an invite.

Generally speaking, their events are catered and done really, really nicely. In fact, the last time I was at an Formula1 viewing at Ferrari of Central New Jersey, I bought a car. :) Because of the catering, I think that RSVPs are probably required. I would call over there and see what the situation is. I don't know if it's a public event or not... But no harm in calling!

I'll be there with the car I bought at the last event...

I look forward to meeting everyone. Will anyone being doing some kind of drive afterward? I'd like to hear some engines on the road even if it's from a chase car.

It usually a very nice event. I neither own a Ferrari or have much hopes of having one anytime soon, but I have always been welcome. I am on their mail list and I do RSVP, but that seems to be all the is needed to attend. It is a great chance to see lots of FCARs and other exotics and mingle with lots of other owners and enthusiasts.

I look forward to meeting everyone at the event. I will be bringing down my Blue F355 spider. All of their events are top notch and the race is going to be awesome. I am hoping Massa takes first as well as Hamilton finishing somewhere south of 5th. Nonetheless, it is still going to be a good time. I will take some pictures and post them after the event.

Thanks I'll give them a call in the morning. I've never been there and I'm going to need a place to service my car if I don't decide to trade it. I've read here they're very nice.I real would like to see the place and check out all the cars. I might not even stay for the race. Well I guess I'll find out in the morning Thanks

As usual, everything today was first class, CM and FOCNJ, the food, the new facility everything including the weather was just perfect. Sorry that you couldn't control the race outcome! Just wanted to give you a heads up on the food. Each time I attend the event, I always thought how nice the layout was. I went over to the BBQ tent, saw that it was hamburgers and hot dogs, and I joked to the guy that "oh well, I guess I'll eat the salad". Next thing I know a fantastic "veggie burger" was grilled to perfection, I went inside the new facility, had some fantastic chicken, and by the way, those "boozed apples" were delicious. I think that this had to be not only the best turnout, nicest collection of people and cars, but the food, service, presentation, all made for a great day. Thank you Chris and Staff of FOCNJ for a wonderfull day!

That new facility is really amazing. I'm surprised you let Maserati move in there! :)

Thanks for a great time... and a fab gift bag. I don't care that the Scuderia lost the race, it was a great day with great friends.

Great time as always and I gotta say the food was outstanding.

Multiple locations and a great selection of all kinds of BBQ. My son loved his hot dog and especially all the extras that came along with it. :)

Thanks again CM for a great day and perfect party.

Incredible event - Thanks to CM and all the folks at Ferrari of Central New Jersey.

The catering was incredible - I need to see if they do any events in New York!!!

Oh, and I know at least two cars that got impromptu servicing yesterday - from some free work on a Caprtisto exhaust (Not even a warranty job) to a radio issue (OK, I was playing with the radio set up in the Scuderia and it started speaking German and I could not get it back, but Nelson was happy to spend time troubleshooting it!)

    THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
