November 13th - A day for car shows:

On the 13th I took my 328 to two events that could be called "car shows". And that doesn't include the one in Flowery Branch, which I was forced to miss.

The first was really a model car show, the NNL Southern Nationals in Smyrna, where the theme was "Prancing Horses: Mustangs & Ferraris". I got permission to park at the front curb, and when I realized Stephane of Scaledetails (who was a vendor inside) had parked his Testarossa around the corner, I invited him to join me out front. Later a fellow with a red Viper GTS cruised by, looking for a parking space, and I waved him over to pull in behind us.

 

In the late afternoon, I drove out to Giovanni's in Suwanee for their monthly dinner gathering, on invitation of a member of the local Lotus Club. There was a turnout of over 30 cars, including a rare Triumph Vitesse, a cute yellow Lotus Elise, an Aston Martin DB7 and a trio of Cobras, along with 8 Ferraris:

 

Yup, a '73 to be precise. I think there is at least one photo of it in the Atlanta Italian Car Day thread.
