Novitec, Capristo, IPE

Hi all

Interested in your views on the above subject.

Given a choice, which would you choose and why?

it’s for an 812.

 

Tubi Style

 

1- Novitec

2- Kline

3- Capristo

 

novitec for sure when it comes to the 12 cylinders...

Why Tubi?

 

tubi is a great option for the 355, 360, and TR. for anything after 2010 id go novitec. HP wise they are all a push, so you are really just buying sound, which for my FF was well worth the $20k (novitec)

I’m planning Novitec for the 812. Just the X pipe and valved exhaust.

 

Mine FF 2015 came with IPE not my choice, every time I take it to Ferrari FtLauderdale it’s the center of attention,
I find it to noisy at cold startup but when it settles down it’s great, build I have no idea the Ferrari tech’s approved.

 

I don't think Kline has anything for the 812, but on the F12 it gets my vote

Has anyone heard both Kline and Novitec? Why do you guys think Novitec sounds better?

 

Kline has an exhaust for the 812. Felix from Kline said it sound similar to the TDF exhaust. This is why Novitec gets my nod:

This sounds amazing.
I have the IPE on the F12, sounds amazing as well.
I get why Novitec.

 

My F12 has full IPE, sounds amazing, like an old F1.

 

Novitec did not support the product I purchased from them. Skip them.

I have the Kline down pipes and X-pipe with stock rear mufflers on my F12. Sounds absolutely amazing!

I haven't heard the Novitec on any V12 Ferrari's in person so I can't compare to mine.

 

I got full kline on FF, including mufflers, was necessary as the cabin is very insulated in the FF

they declined to provide me with the software (engine map) or reprogramme my ECU, for an engine map that I bought from them, for several thousands of dollars, saying they don't support / or do it anymore...I needed a copy, as it seems the map was wiped by accident from my car.. that was a mystery too... so i guessing maybe either Ferrari disapproves of what they doing with engine maps ?, or maybe some engines blew up ??, i don't know what happened, but maybe its a blessing, but its just a waste of my money and a don't really care attitude that i found dissapointing....

 

Not IPE for sure. Lack of quality and poor fitment has been a common IPE issue. Malaysian made product and personally I think the synthetic sound is terrible.

Capristo is always a top contender for me, as the quality is top shelf and product support is excellent.

Novitec as a complete system sounds great and also of top shelf quality. I do however think the price is a wee bit steep.

Tubi is also great quality, but I'm not the biggest fan of the sound.

Kline, gets a good rep, but I have not "met" it.

Lack of quality and poor fitment is normally a comment associated with Made in Italy.
