    Hi, it's been many years since I sold my 308 and am now back in the market for another Ferrari. I've been looking at 3 models, the F430, the 458, and the 599. I know they all have their pros and cons. I recently saw a fully converted Novitec F430 with 12K miles on it. I don't know much about the Novitec conversion and whether it's worth the price the dealer is asking for it $150K. Any thoughts/advice on these choices would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Novitec is just a tuner. Mods don't add value. I would pay nothing additional for a car with Novitec mods.

    I didn’t like how either the 430 or the 458 drove….if you want a V8 from the period, go for a Scuderia….THAT is what a Ferrari should be.

    I have not been a fan of the first several newer V12s (550, 575, 599)….the styling had been too conservative to be boring.

    Agreed that mods are value killers

    I'm om the other side of the fence...Any properly tuned and modified car adds value in my book.

    I can give examples of techart/RUF porsches, novitec n-largo f12, brabus/renntech MB, saleen/roush mustangs, lingenfelter/callaway corvette, etc, etc ,etc.

    Let's see, I currently own a brabus cl600, and a roush stage 3 mustang.

    But as always, get what you like and who cares what we say
