    So a friend recently installed a novitec N Tronic on his car.

    How do you "Activate/deactivate" it using the manettino??

    Does it activate when its in race mode and then deactivate when in sport or wet?

    Thanks!

    Novitec N Tronic uses a button that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

    You’re thinking about the Novitec Switchtronic exhaust valve controller.

    That is what plugs into the lighter.

    N Tronic is thru the manettino

    I have that on my TDF and Speciale. The ones on mine work this way:

    Wet - doesn’t really open

    Sport - valve stays closed at below 5k rpm or soft throttle, valve opens after 5k or more throttle input.

    Race and modes above - more than 20-30% of throttle input would get the valve open right away.

    Switchtronic & n tronic all have a #Tronic lol

    Look up the Novitec n tronic. It basically just a plug and play ECU upgrade that opens her up. Supposedly a 100hp gain on the 488 with minimal installation.

    Prob is, there wasn’t any instructions as to how to “activate and deactivate it from the manettino” like it says lol.

    I’m assuming it’s race mode since we don’t have too many options on there as it is.
