Novitecs as mentioned previously look great on a 456 .I believe 19 " wheels are not available. Do 20 " wheels fit a 456. Can for instance you use a 612. 20 " wheels on rear and 19 " wheels on front ? Are the lug hole positions the same on all ferraris so nf2.'s from other models are interchangeable ?

Antony- The F430 NF2s were 19" front and 20" rear. Fronts were the same as the 360/575M wheels (9x19) and take 255/35 19 tires. Will take much lower profile rear tires to match or nearly match OEM diameters, but ride would likely suffer. The F430 20" rears are 12" wide vs the 12.5" on the 360/575M 19" wheels, so that helps a bit. You would probably still need ~25 mm spacers on the rear.

The 612 wheels will not fit, wrong bolt pattern, 5x114.3 mm vs 5x108 mm on the 456.

Taz i found a set of nf1's. I note your post about difficulty fitting to your 575. I suppose the same still holds true for my 456 and 550 regards Tony

NF2's are the hott ticket for the 456

I never did them on mine, but I wish I did, been holding onto this pic for years

    Fantastic look!

18" 550 look great too although I have the nf2's at 19" but am forced into 345 mss on the rears which required a stance adjust (simple) and absolutely ensure your shocks are in good shape (or you get rubbing in hard turns - ask me how I know. But once shocks rebuilt by delta Vee problem gone.). But it is a ridiculous look. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Here's the 18" 550 wheels. Both conditions require 25mm spacers on rear

I thought the F430 wheels were 19x7.5 front and 19x10 rear? I like the look and would add these to my 550 if they were wide enough...

I'm still not certain from Tazz's post in 2010
    Whether it's possible to fit nf1 's to a 456/550

    NF1 is a centerlock wheel - correct?

NF1s will not fit on a 456 or 550. All the V12 axle parts are way too stout for those wheels designed for little wimpy V8 axle parts. We asked Novitec directly and they said no way. Unless, of course, you were willing to invest several thousand in custom machining.

The NF2s are definitely the wheel of choice, but they ARE pricey. A set of 4 19" OZs puts you out less than one Novitec.

My NF2s were $5600 with discount, but I do not think they are making them any more.

    Jurgen,

Thank you, but that's not my car.

I do have a set of those 575 wheels though that I'm thinking to put on my car, and my car is Daytona black, but again, that's not my car- Just a pic

My car is on Cargraphic Racing 19 wheels (German) that I stumbled upon used and no one knew what they fit. I bought them cheap and then too much money altering them with the manufacturer to have them fit the 456 correctly. in the end they look and work well and the fitment is spot on, but I have always envied the NF2's and likely would/should have done a set of them.

Here's a pic of mine (although please excuse me as I'm not looking to throw off the subject of this thread)

Another Very Good fitment that looks sharp right at home on the 456 is the 575 standard 18" wheel and can be had priced reasonably. It's no wonder that any of factory wheels look like they belong.

But for me nothing looks as Agressive as the NF2's- They are likely of the hottest aftermarket applications

    Very Sharp indeed

Yes you're right, the pricing is steep on them, but they look the part :))

Here is the new home for Taz's NF2s. They fit perfectly on my 456M, with Hill Engineering 25mm "Type 2" spacers in the rear. They are absolutely gorgeous and the perfect wheel for the 456 in my opinion. I was concerned that 19" would look too big on a car that came with 17s, but the look is so natural that the car seems designed around these wheels.

This is the only decent photo I have of them at the moment....
