Looking to change my springs on my 488 and considering H&R. I was told by a shop that does alot of cars with Novitec to go H&R. He says they absorb the bumps better and don't bounce around on the streets. I was actually surprised to hear this because they do a lot of Novitec. Can anyone provide some advice based on experience?

    Thank you.

I think the interesting part is that H&R doesn't make springs for the 488. Please ask him for the part numbers. As for the cars bouncing on Novis? Uh, no.

Here's my experience of a 458 on Novi vs. H&R. The progressive rate of the Novis worked well while giving the car a slightly harder feel overall. The H&R springs rode very harsh and the car was nervous and bouncy as it was oversprung.

Nothing of what that guy says make sense to me.

I have Novitec on my 488 and now I’ve put 2500 miles on them.
    They do not bounce
They feel basically like stock just less roll in corners and very slightly stiffer
Honestly I prefer the way the car feels overall better with the Novitec over stock

I could be wrong, but I thought H&R made the springs for Novitec? Or was it Eibach?

Incorrect. They are made by KW. OE springs are Eibach.
