-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cant decide whether to put the HGTE wheels and suspension on my Black 599 or the Novitec NF3's and Novitec Springs. Would be grateful for your opinions. Thx Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I prefer the Novitec wheels however havent read anything about their suspension. Maybe Novitec Wheels + HGTE suspensions..
After market is for ricers and boy racers. Depreciation on f cars is bad enough these days. Why set yourself up for an even bigger hit and spend more money to do it. If you really need to do this ..... HGTE is the way to go.
Marc- Both look great. HGTE wheels are OEM if that is important to you. The NF3s are 21" in the rear and wider F and R for a bit meaner look. Just depends on what is more important to you. The HGTE kits are a relative bargain and are factory approved and dealer installed. No bad choice either way. Taz Terry Phillips
Both OEM and Novitec look perfectly fine. It's a matter taste. Novitec wheels will not "depreciate" your car LOL. They look more aggressive to me and wonderful.
Thanks for all your comments, Im leaning towards Novitec tbh, I think they look better, ill have my original parts to put back on when I sell the car. There is always a good aftermarket for Novitec too...
Novitec looks better. HGTE is "from the factory". If I had the choice it would be the Novitec wheels all the way and I don't know enough about the suspension to make a clear judgement.
Novitech wheels, particularly the split 5-spoke designs posted here, have always sort of been the unofficial "3rd option/OEM" wheel of Ferrari (to me). Those and Speedline.
Novitec looks better, but that's mostly because the car is lower and the tires jutt out of the body. Thats easy. Virtually every car looks better when you do that. Which begs the question as to why doesn't Ferrari simply do it. I presume the low ride hide would prove problematic on the road, especially for everyday driving, and its better for aerodynamics to have the wheels tucked under the arches. Is it fair to assume the aesthetic value added by novitec has a performance price?
