I love that car. Goes on a lot of Chicago runs. Love the tails too, on any color other than black, and without the Challenge Grill.
That's Joe's car. (but I guess you already knew that) Here's a few more shots I've taken, just rode in it on Thanksgiving. Great car! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I puchased the Novitec black tail light assemblies and black side markers and wheels/tires from Jason @ Exotica Motorsports - 360.210.7554
From their catalog: http://www.prostores.exotica-motorsports.com/stores/cart.php?target=product&product_id=462&category_id=138
why don't you just black out your factory taillight. they would look close enough to those but way cheaper
Yes thinking about that does the rear fender have to come off to remove them fully or can it be done via removing the rear engine bay panels, even if you change a rear light bulb they recommend this is done by a dealer so there must be a quick way http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partsListing.asp?M=1&Mo=375&A=2&B=20007&S=&ID4=871688
I did removal on 360 and it was very easy, not neccessary to remove anything, just access from engine area. I suppose 430 will be same. I am also sure that there is company in Germany selling these "Novitec like" tail lights. They had eshop as well, just can not find it now. They had white or smoked lights for 360 and i think they had also 430. Price for set was about 1000 eur. I think if you black out OEM lights, you will not achieve same affect.
You can go to any high end bodyshop and they can "smoke" the taillights to create that look. It would probably cost less than $500.
I fitted a set in under two hours, no need to remove the rear fender, you can reach through past the vacuum tank in the l/h inner wing to change the two small thin lights. The centre brake light takes a bit of fiddling with some shims to get it to align perfectly with the edge though. They look absolutely fantastic, and are a of very high quality construction, but the side repeaters for the front just looked too purple so the customer didn't want them fitted.
right now probably the cheapest place to buy these is Scuderia Systems in the UK, that is where I ordered mine
