We have been testing the intelliTOP for about 5 months now, and it has passed with flying colors. You can now just hit the top button ONCE and the top will go all the way up or down. ALSO, you can program it so that you can be going up to 25mph (40kph) and touch the top button just once and it will go up or down.
I also have been working with FoA and they tested the system with zero errors. Pretty cool deal for only $600....

It is the intelliTOP at CarTronics.com - we are product engineers in Buckhead. Bring your car by, and we can show you how it works.

No, not an ad. I do not work for CarTronics. I have been testing the unit in my own F430 and proving it. I just told them I would talk positive about it, if it worked out as promised.

Yup, I do electronics consulting for them from time to time. As you read I am currently a photographer and investor.
Look, I don't know why the aggressive behaviour here. I tested for Scott at CarTronics because I have an electronics engineering background. It works as he promised, and I said I would let the community know about it. That is what I did. When you guys find something cool, do you not tell others? What is the problem? If he gets a little response, I am sure he will become a sponsor. He is a small outfit and works by word of mouth. I do know he sponsors some Mercedes sites because he has lots of those products.
As for me, I was (am) his long term tester. It worked from day one, but he sent a couple of units off for atmospheric testing on my recommendation. I ran it all summer and I actually drive my 430. I have an 07 with 20k on the clock. That is why he used me. He asked FoA for an actual driver and we met each other. I have done a few things for him now, but have no stake in his company.

Here's why there are knee-jerk reactions.

Listing the website as your homepage *usually connotes affiliation, hence the suspicion of Spam.

    *99% of the time.

Funny, seems like it was "we" just a few posts above.

Does removing the link really make the affiliation go away?

I have said I have tested and checked a few things for Scott at CarTronics. I have said I am an engineer and WE (my consulting company) test things from time to time (for different robotics applications). I do not work for him, nor do I get any money from his sales. I DID AGREE TO LET MY FERRARI BUDDIES KNOW ABOUT THE DEVICE IF IT WORKED OUT.
You guys are a bunch of unwelcoming a**holes. I am glad you don't show up out our local friday meetings. MY friends always share tips, products, waxes, clear bras, tire ideas and other cool product finds within our group.
I am personally am excited when someone makes something cool for a VERY small market AND does not charge ten arms and five legs for it. Tell you what, I will have the moderator strike this whole thing. Tomorrow I will tell Scott to triple the price, buy some ad somewhere and make the jerks here happy. His normal mode of word of mouth is not welcome with snotty Ferrari owners. I own a Ferrari, my friends own a few, but we are anything but nose in the air jerks. We are enthusiasts, and love to share information, and maybe help a pretty cool guy get the word out about a little niche product.

Scott, if you read this in the morning... I apologize for these peoples behavior.

WAX will share his clear bra with you...but I don't think you will look any better in it than he does.

Can you post a video of the top going up and down on your 430 at 25mph. I would like to see this product in action.

i asked wax to remove this thread.... this crap is not fair to the product maker....

Scott will probably video my car next week and post it on his site. Just to be clear, I got mine for free so he could test it and use my car for promotion. I am very happy with it, and would pay twice what he is asking....
looks like he will raise the price to pay for a bunch of advertising... I would

Interesting what the Ga Sec of State has to say about that company.

You are not fair to the product maker for shilling his stuff pretty ineptly. If I were the owner, I would be pretty mad at you too.

BTW, you're whole myspace reeks of megalomania.
