If it's the same case i read about they were trying to locate the guy for murder and he was still in the area. Never hurts to try

 

And as long as they were working for the interests of the Bush administration...I trust 'em.

In one recent case, police tried to get a cell phone user's billing information without a warrant. A court said the information would improperly give police the ability to locate the cell phone user.
