This is sickening, stupid morons converting NSX to F50, the NSX wasn't so bad at the beginning.

Here is a bizarre, unminigated failure, ouright disgusting project, Mazda RX-7 turned to F40. No I shouldn't say F40, that is destroying the holy name. Any other suggestions on what to call it?

    Ryan,

I love those pics. So subtle...
    :)

Horrid. This thread is fitting to "car" in question.

that's the first of that particular transformation that I have seen, and I have to say, although i completely disagree with what has been done here, that is one of the better looking replicas i've seen.

the guy with the nsx obviously has a few dollars to throw around making for clean fitting, shinely painted, and relatively similar replicant parts.

I still wouldn't _EVER_ drive it, unless it was over a cliff.

I agree with you. However, the guy is nuts in my opinion. For the price of the NSX, and all the money he put into the conversion, he could have had a nice REAL Ferrari.

Both cars look terrible. Why mess with a perfectly good NSX. Its not my first choice for a sports car but a competent machine nevertheless.

As for the RX-7 conversion that absolutely sickens me. I used to own and race an 86 RX-7 set up for ITS. I'm not sure what is more insulting.. The fact that they would desecrate the gorgeous form of the F40 by trying to pass it over on an RX-7 or that they runied a perfectly good fun little car with an abomination of a poor body kit.

    F-ing posers.

Looking from the other side, I think it is quite funny these conversions. That NSX has tried its best to look like a f car but evidently failed. So to those NSX lovers who always tell me NSXs are Ferrari-beaters, eat your heart out.

Yeah, cause your 328 would crush any NSX.

Seen way worse conversions than that. At least the Ferrari F50 isn't "smiling" like on Fiero kits. Ha.

I would rather save a few $ and get an S2000, use the extra dollars I wouldve spent on an NSX on mods.

I do like those seats in the RX40.

I dont think its that bad, a lot better than a Fiero rebody. at least its a nice sportscar.

I'd like to see a nice F50 rebody on a tired 308 that would be cool & it would be a Ferrari :)

you'll be suprise what an nsx is capable of. I got one with 470 hp, it's faster than my 360 straight line and on the track. It's an awsome sport car to own for under 90k, IMO. I have to say trying to make it look like a ferrari is a stupid idea, nsx looks great the way it is.

Don't get me wrong, I know what NSX is capable of as my younger brother owns one and he (plus a couple of friends of his who also own NSXs) have been nagging about how NSX outperform Ferraris and showed me a few articles about it.
That jibe was for him and his friends.

Fake F50 and see whether I could fit a Ferrari engine in it. Maybe a 328 engine with a blower or a turbo would fit.
