No one is saying sell your NSX, if you have the funds as you say buy a Ferrari to go with it, you will still want a car you can leave alone parked without hassle thats fun to drive you can rack up miles on, the Ferrari would be for special occasions.

You come to our Ferrari online gathering location and rip on our F cars... what do you expect?? Mercy? Guaranteed you will not get it. And now you are the spokesman of "a growing population of F-chatters?" You seriously do not see anything wrong with your approach here?

"So carry on if you like..." Oh, we will!!!

Why do you think I come to Fchat?

    I LOOOOVVVEEEEE Fcars.

Any comments against the cars was entirely tongue in cheek, I can assure you.

They are wonderful cars. Terrific cars. I love them. Every single little bolt, rattle, quirk; Ill take it all. Ill take an old GT4 or a new F430. They're all excellent.

But I also love my car.

And no, obviously my car was not to my satisfaction stock. Its been entirely redone. Chassis reinforcement. Supercharger plus some other stuff (360whp dynod). Completely redone suspension and a bunch of other stuff. I liked it before, I adore it now. Thanks for the nice comments. I chose the NSX over an Fcar because I felt that the NSX was a more reliable package for a daily driver. The first time I would have a mechanical issue with the car would be the second last day Id own it. I thought that was an unrealistic expectation with an Fcar.

And Ski_Banker is on PRIME. He has an NSX. I think he works with Real Estate banking while I work at an investment bank schlopping stock.

Please tell me you're not basing these kind of purchases on this.

Congratulations on your extreme wealth. (Boy, those Ferrari guys...)

All well and good to prize the Acura for its reliability and competitive performance, which is there, but many here bought Ferraris instead, accepting more/expensive maintenance in exchange for something naughty, irrational, loud and fast.

The NSX may have been the right choice for you. It scores very well in some areas, but in others it feels a bit sterile, and that's the crux of it. When I went looking for a weekend exotic, the NSX -- like some other fine cars -- just didn't register. We see the same kinds of posts from Corvette owners, whose cars trounce basically everything. But when a Testarossa rolls into the driveway, the spell is cast.

Ya know Biobunk, I don’t remember anyone here saying NSX’s were bad cars. Now if I choose to think Ferraris are cool cars, and I choose to purchase one instead of an NSX, it doesn’t make me a fool. It’s just my preference, as your’s for your NSX. By the way when 348’s first came out they were selling for upwards of 200K, if, you could get your hands on one. That was 200K 1989 dollars, so what does that make there purchase price in adjusted dollars? Not that it really means anything. I just think you’re a nut, drooling with NSX ego. Now NSX’s are cool cars, and I respect them, but if you don’t believe there 348’s out there that will just smoke your supercharged Arss, then you’re the one that is, in fact, delusional. There are a good bunch of guys here, down to earth normal guys, and a credit to the motoring community. If you don’t like it you can just lump it.
Ferrari’s are the fastest sports cars in the world, there also some of the best looking sports cars in the world, and 348’s and 355’s are some of the best looking cars on the road. We didn’t make it that way, that’s just the way it is. Now if your just having a tough time with this reality check, I feel sorry for you pal.

That's funny, if you read the head-to-head comparisons with the 348 and the NSX, they were virtually even.

So, if you are bagging on the 348, what does that say about your NSX?

    Keep wishing.

At least you finally realized that getting entangled with hard core Ferrari lovers is a no-no! And... you did it in the wrong place too.

It's like poking a hornet's nest and turning your bare a$$ towards it!

    Thanks!

Here is a quote from the article where that pic came from:

......."As thrust from the car’s 1829-horsepower gasoline-fueled twin-turbo V8 pushes Gordon hard into the Kevlar racing seat......"
