Imo the ride quality and comfort are better in the NSX. However, the NSX has far less interior and luggage space.

Yes that correct. Wayyy too little interior storage. It makes you assess what you actually need with you before you get in. Wallet...Ok, keys, no choice.....phone, might be pushing it but it will fit, anything else, good luck.

Here's a lovely Grand Prix White NSX coupe I have for sale in the classifieds section. This NSX is 1 of only 325 manual-transmission Grand Prix White "NA1" coupes produced for the USA-market.

Trunk money ends April 1 and the remaining 2017 inventory is drying up quickly. The residual on my car is $113,120.00 @ 56%. LOL. 14k less than my purchase price. Residuals are 56% (5k miles year) for 33 or 36 months with the money factor at .00170. What's is totally amazing is that the mileage overage charge is $.20 (same as a Honda Accord). This is just ridiculous value.

Great reading we are in the market for a new NSX as well.

We own one of the last model year GPW NSX and a Huracan right now - all great cars for various types of driving styles. Our 2004 NSX is definitely our unicorn and what we got married in many years ago, you could say she is part of the family :)

But Not all dealers are discounting aggressively unless you know of a specific deal that you'd like to share :)

Wow, what a deal. The $75k discount (factory money of $30k (15%) + $45k (22%) from the dealer) is amazing. Only paying for $14k in depreciation! And financing the whole thing with zero down/cap reduction at ~4.3%. Amazing deal.

If the total discount is only $50k as some dealers are getting to, then the payment would be nearly double on the same lease (payment with $152k purchase price would be $1600+).

With only the factory money of $30k and no dealer discount the payment would be $2300.

So, the "duh"conclusion...getting that dealer discount is the key! Seems like a few folks are seeing $20-45k from the dealer...but others are not seeing anywhere near that offered.

Can you tell us the dealer and does that dealer have any left?

If the residual is only $14000 less than the purchase price, a 36 month lease would only be $388.88 per month in principal payments, ($14000 / 36) plus interest of about $17.99 per month, (( $127,000 x .00170 x 3 ) / 36), using your stated money factor. So with those numbers you should have leased the car for $407.00 per month! And then after 36 months walk away.

I believe you meant the money factor is .017 (1.7%), therefore the monthly interest payment is $179.90 per month for a monthly payment of $568.78 per month. ($388.88 + $179..90)

Blitz88, I don't think that is how the money factor works. I believe you take the sum of the capital cost (aka purchase price-cap cost reduction, if any) + the residual and then multiply by the money factor. So its more like $240k x .0017 = $408/month.

Also, to convert to APR you multiply the money factor x 2400. Its around a 4.1% interest rate.

I came up with 4.3% to arrive at a $855 payment, but I think its 4.1% interest and perhaps a sales or use tax added to the actual lease payment of $828 to get up to the $855 he mentioned. (otherwise not sure why the payment calc per excel is ~$27 different)

I don't DD mine although you could, reliable as any Honda I have ever owned just get in and go. The biggest problem I have is due to the car being low to the ground there are simply some places you can't get into without scrapping the front lip or worse. So for that reason it might be a problem if you didn't have another vehicle.
