    I recently came across the following link

    This site is apparently from someone in the UK with an annual pass at the Nurburgring and contains some information on death statistics, and a pretty gruesome photo of a tee-shirt someone was wearing in an Elise that got into a little "trouble." There also is a photo of what looks like a truck or van on its side along with another car. Pretty sobering.

    In addition, the general site, nurburging.org.uk has lots of useful information for those interested in driving or riding the 'Ring.
