A typical tourist trip would probably have you stay at the Dorint, Casino, Hotel Am Tiergarten or Motorsport Hotel in Nurburg. If you are looking for something truly special, I always try to stay here
    Agnesen-Hof in Barweiler am Nürburgring

Some of my favorite places to eat would be
    agnesen-hof
    Il Cavallino in Mullenbach
    La Lanterna in Kelberg
    Ristorante Pizzeria Pinocchio in Adeneau
    The Pistenklause Restaurant

I have made 8 trips to the ring for business. It is wonderful place to visit and explore. Don't be afraid to try some places outside of Nurburg. PM me if you have any questions.

''closed'' nurburgring are much less terrifying, as in the attentiveness of drivers. Tourist days are generally littered with idiots who expect everyone to jump out of their way, or people not very familiar with the track and unaware of much faster cars approaching them.

Also, the straight will be open on closed days :)
