A place across the street from me makes a nutella pie - sort of like a french silk, but using nutella. I probably spend $50/month on that....
You're actually supposed to spread Nutella onto something...? I've always just eaten it from the jar .
half spoonfull of nutella, then plunge spoon into a peanut butter jar, then stick it in your mouth. like eating a reeces peanut butter cup.
Or add in some vodka, chocolate syrup and a fine dusting of cocoa and you have the best Chocolate-Hazelnut Martini you've ever had .
I agree with you on the stuff is delicious. Just don't ever get it confused with Vegemite. That will open your eyes !!! Vegemite really is an aquired taste.
I actually used to date one of the Ferraro girls, when i lived in Switzerland... she would spread Nutella on sliced pineapple and sprinkle with salt... sounds crazy but good
Before I started eating healthy I was buying tons of croissants. I would cut them in half generously spread Nutella on one half then put the other half back on top. Put in the oven for about 5 minutes at 350* and serve with a nice cold glass of milk. WOW! mmmmm this stuff is sooooo good. My mother makes Nutella french toast. I think she makes one piece of french toast with thin white bread. When that one is finished she spreads nutella on the finished piece as another is cooking on one side. Then she joins the two pieces and flips the half finished piece over to get everything nice and hot. Lots of milk is needed as well.
I eat it out of the jar when I need something caloric, but once I had it in a milkshake and that was amazing.
I eat waffles this way all the time. I've gone through 5 large jars of Nutella since about new years. It was popular while I was growing up in Canada. I think the jars sold here are made there.
In two months I have gone through about half of my 11lb jug of Nutella My favorite is making a milkshake of the stuff but I can nearly feel myself gaining weight. Most of it has been spread on bagels or bread for breakfast.
Yes I will agree....excellent stuff!! My old college roomie introduced me to the stuff and I have been unable to put it down since. I am not sure about making milkshakes out of it but dang it is good!
