    Hey all,

This past weekend I had my car emission checked (it passed). There is new policy in Nevada regarding emissions testing which I certainly believe is one of their larger blunders. The system simply notifies you if the car passes or fails and provides no numbers on a sheet nor anywhere else in their system that can show by what margin the car passed or failed by. In Nevada, if your vehicle fails a test it is logged in their system and eventually becomes unregisterable without certain documentation should it fail multiple times.

I am glad my car passes with ease, but the system in which they have devised to get classic cars off the road is just a waste of time. Any local classic owner who is forced to go through our draconian emission testing knows to have the car reviewed by a 4-gas before even having the car tested. Why the state of Nevada wasted a huge amount of tax dollars and time is once again beyond my understanding.

The % of vehicles such as this on the road is certainly small enough to not have any bearing on the world atmosphere by themselves (if that theory even hold water).

    Needed to vent a bit.
