I'm in one way or another. Unfortunarely (or fortunately...) the Turbo Cab just got rented for that day, so I'll eithe ride shotgun or take an available car. We have quite the weekend planned! I think the spring run-season is officially under way... nlh

went up to the mountain, on the way there between 7-8 I saw I think 2 cops.. on the way back, ie. 8-9 I saw at least 8 cops, on either side of the road.. looks like the po-po is getting wise to the sunday morning joyrides

8 between exits 18 and 1, like every alternate exit +vely thinking, they were all radar traps, V1 saved my ass at least 4 times
Sounds like the "speed set" has been using those roads recently and as a result the Po Po is looking to generate some revenue. Definitely will keep that in mind for next weekend and may run a spotter to insure that nobody gets popped.
I hear ya Bruce. Hope that the 550 is back up and running by next weekend and if not, we have the whole driving season in front of us! Keeping my fingers crossed though...
993 Guy - I should know by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest if I can make it on Sunday. I'll be waxing the car tonight & tomorrow.
Just checked the latest Euro weather model computer run and it looks like cool with rain every few days for the next week or so but it holds to the possibility of a dry window on Sunday , so it is way too soon to postpone. I am sure Eric, a weather guy too, is on it. Sorry I can't join in on this on as catching an early flight to Houston.
Was i on drugs when i signed up for this? Where shall i meet you guys? At the gas station on the Palisades near Exit 5 at what time? Do i have to give Rob Ferretti a ride? Yeah, you know i drive the Palisades every day, and lately, those boys in blue have literally been in heat, so whatever you do, don't plan on any spirited driving on the Palisades...
Common now Bill, it wouldn't be a "fun run" without ya! ;-) Yeah, it looks like we'll be meeting at the rest area in the middle of the highway at Exit 5 (which is right in your backyard). Should be a great group of people with some new and old faces. I think Ferretti will have his own wheels for this one... As for the weather, I've been keeping a close eye and as Vinny said it's too early to call it. If it doesn't look good then we'll pull the plug and reschedule. Otherwise plan to be there and I'll keep a close eye on Vinny's "Euro model". I'll take another roll call as the weekend approaches...
After frequent consultation with our resident weather expert Vinny over the past couple of days, it looks like Sunday will be have clearing skies and a bit of a chill in the air. Thanks Hubert. The Po Po will be top of mind and as far as numbers go, I'm sure we'll get down to a smaller group as the 1st approaches. We'll also be joined by a group from Rennlist, so should be a great run.
