Welcome to August, thank you for bringing me back to the summer, I miss the warmth in this freezing weather.

 

A few things happened while he was gone:

1) The Mets won a World Series

2) America elected an African American President

3) And this guy got beat up by a cop in New York.

 

I did a follow up, the Manhattan District Attorney's office lowered the charges from felony assault to misdemeanor reckless assault and obstruction of government administration.

Notice the blonde came out, not a word, got into the car, drove away and the dude was lying on that filthy road like a piece of trash. He did deserve that though!!! That officer was just doing his job.

 

They should use this as a case study in human stupidity. You can rate who is the most stupid

1) the driver
2) the cop
3) the girl
4) the 13 million+ youtube viewers who wasted their time watching it

 

I have not seen it. The Fchat commentary is far more interesting.

That being said, I have a knack at really enjoying the videos watched by very few, but are utterly brilliant. I cannot scratch my head at the uninformed idiot population, as that is just what they are. A great example is probably that of Chris Potter, he is without a doubt the finest living saxophone player -a genius of the instrument- but his most-watched videos have maybe 15,000 hits. Achingly sad.

Maybe you are right.

I saw this video today first time and I am horrified about the action of the police in your country! This man has done nothing! He was not stopped by the officer, he only stand in front of the car. If he wants to stop the car has to give clear sign.

But, however, this action of the police against this F-driver has a complete different motivation. We all know what it is. And the kind of acting because of nothing, I can't accept. With such actions it looks like police-state, not like a free country. Terribly, I am shocked.

They fighted and enchained him like a killer. No, this cannot happen without consequences in a free land!

And how bad the trauma because of the horrible crash against the leg of this policeman was you can see at the end of the video when he walks with a limp. In my opinion he is not a serious policeman, he is a cheater!

Does anybody know if there have been consequences for the policeman?

The 458 driver is a smart axx punk who deserved to get dragged out of his car. Clearly the cop was writing him a ticket and was standing in front of his car. Typical of the it's all about me types.

 

I only have sympathy for the car...

 

You have to understand that were a few problems with the VEHICLEs credentials, it was new, from across state lines, (New Jersey not new York) and so was missing Inspections, front license plate, and so forth as WELL as being parked overtime or incorrectly.

So, a NORMAL person would have removed themselves from operating the car, stepped out with Identification and insurance papers in hand, and discussed all the issues with Law Enforcement.

That is the gentlemanly way to resolve the issues.

If you need a Ticket, accept it cheerfully, shake hands, and wish the m a safe remainder of their (risk filled) day.

Driving off ignoring them, in Texas, will get you shot, dead.
