Crap. Just realized I have the 5-boro bike ride that day. Argh! I haven't been able to make it to ANY events yet this year. Sorry Nip...probably won't be able to make it this year...unless it rains. I was really looking forward to it.

    UPDATE:
The event will be the same as last year.
I was trying to add a feature this year- an organized ride for the kids. However, there will be no organized ride for kids....Due to overwhelming legality and insurance concerns, the hospital does not want its patients to get rides in the middle of manhattan. Oh well. I've known this for a while now, thought it would be possible to circumvent the system, but apparently not.

Great idea but legal reason usually do prevent this. Look at it this way, better to be safe than sorry.

My ******* f430 is having issues and Im not sure if Im going to have it for this weekend, this is getting ridicolous already. Possibly I'll bring my m6 instead or maybe just go on foot, lol. I did manage to secure 5 wii's for the kids for that day, should be delivered today. WooHoo. How about some members chip in and bring a few games for them?

    IMPORTANT UPDATES:

-Plan on arriving by 9:15-9:30am. Everyone should be parked and settled by 9:45.

-There is a 5-borough bike tour on Sunday, which means some roads will be closed. This will not be a problem for the fun run following the hospital show. Be cautious when coming into the city; this is their route:
    http://www.bikenewyork.org/rides/fbbt/route_map.html#description

-There will be free snowcones/popcorn/cotton candy for everyone at the hospital (but let the kids get it first!). Don't harrass the clowns!!!!!

-The FUN RUN will be to FDR State Park (50 minutes away) in conjunction with newyorkmotorclub. We will leave the hospital by 11:45am.
There will be a catered BBQ in the park for all of us, at a charge of $15 per person. The reserved parking lot will be right near us.
Detailed directions for the run will be handed out to everyone.
