What's up everyone. NY auto show is coming up, dose anyone have any info or perhaps know someone to talk to maybe we can gather some Ferrari's, Lambo's,Porsche's, and vetts and park them in a nice row in front of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. After all it is a car show and I believe it would give them more exposure. Ferrarijoe
Joey i was just wondering the same thing today, when it was.. Cant wait to go, would be sick if we could all cruise there and park in front, chances of that happening? SLIM to none, but who knows
I know someone who did a burnout at the last one and sold a **** load of dvd's from it but I doubt if there will be any special parking allowed for a bunch of exotic car owners out front.
Danny would probably be the best one to answer this. I'll be down there on press days but if you guys are going on the weekend I'll probably come down again.
Do you know if they will be asking for press credentials this year ? I heard a rumor that this year will be different then last.
NYMC will be showing this year. we will have the copper cobra right in the south concourse right next to danny with his dream photo studio and ferretti slinging dvd's. this year, the south concourse is the place to be for sure, so be sure to stop by if youre planning on going to the show.
i'll be there for sure, cant wait to see the cobra in person. hey, who's going to have the hottest models? haha. Noah's girl at the GDC booth got my vote at the philly show.
Press Days are actualy the 4th (wed...not tues) and 5th (thurs) this year with the show opening on the 6th (Good Friday). Unless you're a paying sponsor with permission, you will not be able to leave your car in front of the Javitz Center. They're much more strict with Press Creds this year as opposed to former years. You will need special reg information and also ID when you enter the Javitz Center. See you there...
It's tough this year to get inside as a press... I was denied my application so I'm going on Sat with the rest of the crowd.
Nice try for free parking in Manhattan . They fill the front of the javits center with tents and different exhibits each year, if they are doing a display and you want your car there for the week you can probably make that happen. But I am pretty sure you wont get any Inner Roadway access this late in the game.

My old corvette was on display last year at the nyas. It really was not what you want to do with your car unless you are selling stuff. I had to keep people off/out of it despite the fact that it was roped off. http://www.flickr.com/photos/nabbz/sets/72057594127839258/
Nabbs your old Z06 is good looking. Are you friendly with the guys of Corvettes of Westchester? So how was spending time with Jaime Recabo? He is the man!
Evan -- Yah I know the guys at CoW. Yah Jamie has some really cool rides and a real nice guy to boot. My old Z is down in ATL enjoying warmer climates. Kieran -- I got a job at the NY Times exposing NYPD waste and abuse of power. On an unrelated note, FastNFurious is now writing no front plate tickets and is no longer to accept donuts from Joey Like others have said, it looks to be pretty tough to score one. A generous friend extended me one of his leftover tix, otherwise I would have no hook-up.
I heard that some guy named Kevin was coming too? Jayson, you bringing your camera? lol. We should meet up -- can grab lunch and stuff (no Joey, no Scores).
I got passes to Thursday's even b/c i know one of the representatives there who work for the VIP Party's!
