NYIAS Incident today?

My guess is it had something to do with the "Wheel Concepts" Display outside with the wannabe rappers and guys with the awful taste in wheels.

 

Just asked a cop here at the show, nothing happened today at the show, the metal detectors are just standard operating procedure on the weekends. He didn't even know about the auto accident outside.

 

i must say, i could not believe the lambos that were displayed with no ropes or anything.

i loved the anniversary murci (40th?)

 

Were those Lambos privately owned or promotional wheel company cars? (dealer plates) Whoever allows those cars to be climbed on and leaned on by the shadey crowd has zero business sense. Jeans with metal emblems and kids jumping around all over.. let us see how long wheel concept whatever lasts..

Metal detectors started aroun 1pm, I got in right beforehand. There was a 550SL benz in green zipping up an own the street for a while, no plates, just a window sticker

 

what else happened today? all of a sudden i see mobs of people running away from the manhatten motorcars display, then a bunch of cops tackle this black guy and shove his face into the ground and arrest him. then the ropes were down in the MM display and people were walking in there next to the spykers and phantoms for like 5 minutes until someone kicked them out. nobody i asked knew what happened.

it was also nice to meet you today Matt, the NYMC display was looking sweet!



and best of all I have some cool additions to my dvd collection




i must say the highlight of my day was hearing those 3 lambos revving outside as they were leaving!

 

Those lambos were all privately owned, although I think the blue roadster was owned by the owner of Wheel Concepts.

no, that's from cali, these guys are in staten island. from what I can tell the wheel concepts out here doesn't have a website

 

I am the owner of the 40th Anniversary Murci that was at the show. We all stayed by our cars to watch over but some people get out of hand. All of the Lambos are privately owned. The rappers that were there are not from wheel concepts we just provided the cars. Whats the big deal anyway?? Some people have poor taste in wheels but not every car had nasty wheels on it out there.

I'm the owner of the blue murci roadster and the white gallardo that was there at the nyias the reason for the dealer plates on the lambos is because i am an automobile dealer and owner of wheelconcepts 2 in new jersey and yes it was a lil hairy at times but the business opportunity that is gotten off of a showing like that is very much worth it and true yes we should have had stansions but it was very last minute

wow, you owners of the Lambo's were really cool guys! it really made my day at the fact that when i asked you guys to revv up the cars you actually did, they really sounded amazing, not everyday i get to see and hear my favorite cars in the world being driven and revved. you guys are really lucky to be soo young and own such amazing exotic cars, hopefully i will be in your situation some day. i took alot of pics of all your cars, and a bunch of video too, i'll post some pics up on here and some video, i hope you dont mind and if you do just send me an email at [email protected] and i'll take them down ASAP. i have a few more videos, i'll post them once they are done uploading.
