So latest released info yesterday has the NYSP issuing more then 1 million tickets for 2007. This is the 1st time they have hit this mark so it is apparent that there will continue to be a big push on this in the state. Also a little more then 500 thousand of these tickets were for , speed , seatbelts and DWI. So take it easy out there and set the rev limiter .

Is that only the New York State Police or does it include all police forces in New York?

So then you have to add all the tickets that are written in NYC which must be in the hundred thousands and then add all the local police forces, it'll probably come close to and surpass 2 million tickets in NY State. So there is a ticket for every 10 people in NY State, wow.

thats sad....im actually surprised with that many tickets they have written that i've never gotten one from them. lol. The staties anyway, the local ones hammer me when i go up there. I cruised 110-115 the whole way at 3:30 AM up to a meet last year and didnt see one cop.

Just to let you know, they could jail you for that the next time you get pulled over if the officer is a jerk - I'm pretty sure about this, but can anyone confirm/deny?

It's pretty sad that the politicians have turned law officers into tax collectors.

you never paid it? did you get anything in the mail? your license is probably suspended, car registration suspended, and there is likely a warrant out for your arrest. even if you didn't get anything in the mail, they do not have to tell you they have suspended it. u better check lol.

I wonder how many Ferrari owners got a ticket while attending the FCA Meeting at Corning last year? I had my radar detector and it saved me two times and I know I got lasered once.
