In the last Test I found a way to get just the score on my taskbar at the bottom of the screen and it updated automatically allowing me to get on with some work!

I can`t remember where I found this. anybody know?

    Cricket is so boring.

Spoke to my dad on Friday (he is abroad) and he asked me for the latest score as he couldn't find out.

Of course I didn't have a clue. I couldn't even lie to wind him up.

    No problem.

The other blokes in my office don't need it. They just listen to me swearing or laughing.

Still not home and dry yet, but another 90mins in the crease, 50 more runs and I think it's a done deal.

Then it's spend the next 12mths ripping the p*** out of a bunch of Aussies here.

Trouble is Murph, Aussies are bowling their overs really slowly - there are currently just over 60 overs left to be bowled today with us 187 ahead.

I think we need at least 240+ with 40 overs or less to be bowled to stop the Aussies having a major tonk at it. So there's a good 2 hours left before we are safe - IMHO !!

Not helped with just losing Collingwood.

I still think another 45mins or so should see us get the draw.

I suspect we'll see some pretty average bowling rates from the English too...

    Just lost Jones now.

The way they are talking on tv I think England have to bowl their overs no matter how late the test goes on.

    Indeed.

England's draw surely now. Can't be any more than 2hrs play max, they stillhave 3wkts to get and now 280+ runs (which the Aussies have only scored in half their innings this series).

As for the football - tell them to watch cricket. Especially Rooney.

All out for 335. Australia need 342 to win.

Hope they've been eating their carrots AND their Shredded Wheat.

Captians agreed on a draw. Umpires just came out and took the bails off. All over. Fat lady singing. England get the ashes back after 18 years. Last free-to-air test cricket on UK TV (as Sky bought everything). Richie Beno retires after 42 years. Aussies not coming here again for four years. What an occasion. A tense match for a close result and some of the best cricket you'll ever see.....
