I always had a special interest in the Dakar rally since I was young kid. Always following the rally on TV as much as possible. Are there more people here who like it? Maybe someone who participated or visited the rall once? Some good stories or pictures are welcome too!!

I really loved the Paris Dakar rally. now a little of the initial "adventure" soul has been lost. Simon is attending to something that is close to the initial spirit of Thierry Sabine. I envy him. I used to watch the Dakar when I was a kid... Especially the trucks The last few years I still folowed the car and truck standings but it fascinated me a lot less to be honest... However I do wonder how far Belgian singer Koen Wauters will get this time in his Toyota...
