If you don't like it don't do it, if you do then join but all the topics again and again and again is getting bloody tedious rant over, have a good weekend all
I disagree. Joining the club does not mean that you belt up and don't have an oppinion. I join and I am vocal when I don't like something. If people do this then the club will take notice and make things better for everyone. It's feedback from members and potentail memebrs and it is valuable for the clubs future. That's the idea. Now do you get it ?
...and currently four threads on the same subject. In any case, the correct channel for these things is through the FOC AGM. If anyone has anything they think should be raised at next April's AGM and they won't be attending themselves, then pm me and I will raise it, if appropriate. Jonathan
True - and I do agree with the point about the property (though not necessarily with some of the way it's put). But these issues need to be taken up directly with the Club in order to change things (and sometimes things do move slowly). Jonathan
OK Agreed. How about we start a thread here or on the club forum and get peter on it to discuss. There are few people that have the time to turn up to AGM's or write lengthy letters. What do you think ?
Gentlemen with due respect as suggested if you don't like it don't join, if want to be a member and you think you can make it a better club then do something about it, join the management team, attend the AGM and say your piece, contact Peter directly! Whinging on a public forum is not the answer, nor for that matter is expecting Jason to present stuff at the AGM for you, suggesting you don't have the time is pathetic, you had the time to post your whinging and other stuff on here, channel some of that time/ energy into something you clearly feel strongly about. fwiw I don't always agree with the Clubs policies and plans but frankly I've have got better things to do than run Car clubs so accept it for what it is...ffs it's £75 a year.....it costs more than that for a tank of fuel! Get a life! rant over
i find it a bit strange if an owners club has MILLION POUNDS IN THE BANK they need to share the wealth a bit i reckon
I was happy with the FOC until I saw what the other European got. At that point I think it is right to bleat on to let others know that what they may have might be considered good, but could and definitely should be much, much better. Examples 1) Have a look at the FOC acccounts - for every £70 you give they return £15 of events. For CFF, you get nearly all your money AND some money back from the factory for events. Go figure what you want. 2) More than one of the Directorate have told me personally they need to get closer to the changing demographics of Ferrari owners. Surely the best way is to have a professional ongoing secretary (Sandra does a great job) and a rotating voluntary president/management committee. Call me a cynic but having a forum with Peter Everingham and saying how do you fancy losing your job is not going to met with anything but selective deafness.
